Sensei Gavin Samin
DOB: 17.10.66 Gavin Samin is the Senior Instructor and International Vice President for GKR Karate International. Gavin has had previous training in Shotokan and Kung-fu. He began training with GKR in 1992 and has been one of GKR’s most prominent instructors for the majority of that time. Gavin currently holds the rank of 4th Dan. In January 2004, Gavin stepped into a more senior karate and leadership role within the organization, assisting Shihan Stacey Karetsian in the continuing development of both karate training and management standards worldwide. He lives in the Sunshine Coast with wife Sonya and three daughters Remy, Olivia and Lucy.
