NSW hosted the first GKR Karate Black Belt Open tournament on August 18th 2018.
This inaugural event was a Black Belt only competition, Open to ages 14 and up, with a round-robin format. Kata and Kumite competitors contested at least 4 bouts throughout the rounds.
