2023 United Kingdom National Championships Results

On Saturday 28th October, GKR Karate UK descended upon Ponds Forge Arena for the GKR UK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

The atmosphere throughout the day really ‘rocked us’, with every competitor and spectator really getting into the spirit of competition and camaraderie.

We kicked things off with Team Events, and our youngest competitors in their individual events: and the standard was set from the off!

The Senior open events were both packed out and split over 2 rings to find our finalists, before getting everyone on the edge of their seats to find out who would win the coveted trophies! The competition in these divisions was so tight, and every bout of kata and kumite could have gone either way, but ultimately, we found this year’s National Champions!

The whole day ran incredibly smoothly, finishing just before we had planned – which is a credit to the officials team who (as always) did a fantastic job.
