GKR Karate New Zealand was established in 1994, and has since become the largest martial arts organisation in the country with a membership base of over 3,000.
We have classes running throughout Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch and Wellington. We have many locations within 10-15 minutes of each other, thereby catering for classes 7 days per week. GKR classes are suitable for all ages (5 yrs and up), and we also run specialised kids only classes in many locations.
GKR Karate New Zealand has 3 Regional Managers who are responsible for overseeing all classes within their region. The Head Instructor of New Zealand, Sensei Antoine de Bruin, is responsible for maintaining the high standards of karate tuition throughout the country.
