Sensei Ryan Marvin is the Senior Instructor and Zone Director for the South West Midlands areas of the United Kingdom (Birmingham, Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Gloucestershire). He has been a member of GKR since 2004 and currently holds the rank of 4th Dan Black belt.
Ryan began his training in Leicester and went on to hold the position of Regional Manager in Birmingham in 2009. He was appointed the role of Zone Director for the South West Midlands UK in 2015. He is also the National Squad Coach for the Central areas of the UK.
He currently oversees the ongoing training and support of 3 Senior Instructors/Regional Managers, over 35 Branch Instructors and over 400 students throughout the South West Midlands area.
Ryan’s background includes experience in Goshin JuJitsu, Shotokan Karate, and Goju Ryu Karate. He also has extensive experience as a Tournament Coach and has trained up many students who have succeeded at National and World events.
Ryan is based in Birmingham.
