2024 United Kingdom National Championships

A message from the Tournament Director – Sensei Ryan Marvin:

November 30th 2024 saw GKR UK arrive at Ponds Forge Arena ready for our National titles – and what a day it was!

The day started bright and early with some outstanding Junior Team events, as well as seeing our youngest Karate-Ka show their talents in individuals! The male and female opens saw some brand new National champions which shows the ever growing quality of competition in these divisions, which are always exciting to watch!

As the day went on, the camaraderie of GKR really stood out, with an amazing atmosphere right up until the end of the day, where the room was still bouncing for the senior team events!

A huge thank you to our officials who made the day run smoothly, and of course to all the parents and spectators for spending the day supporting the club. It was the perfect way to celebrate GKR Karate’s 40th anniversary! A huge well done to all competitors!
